Seyss-Inquart, Arthur
(22 jul. 1892, Stannern, cerca de Iglau, Bohemia, Austria-Hungría–16 oct. 1946, Nuremberg, Alemania).

Dirigente nazi austríaco. Sirvió en el ejército austro-húngaro durante la primera guerra mundial y fue gravemente herido. Más tarde fue abogado en Viena, se convirtió en líder de la facción moderada de los nazis austríacos y fue miembro del consejo de Estado federal (1937–38). En respuesta a la presión alemana, fue nombrado ministro del interior y seguridad y luego reemplazó a Kurt von Schuschnigg como canciller (1938). Aprobó el Anschluss de Alemania y se convirtió en gobernador (Statthalter) de la administración austríaca (1938–39). En la segunda guerra mundial fue alto comisario alemán de los Países Bajos (1940–45) y dirigió la política nazi contra los judíos holandeses. Fue procesado en los juicios de Nuremberg y ejecutado como criminal de guerra.
